I ordinarily just hang my helmet on the mirror. Nobody wants my skanky ancient boiling helmet, trust me.
I believe the Honda has a helmet lock.

Unless it’s calculated like a scooter, or had hard bags you won’t have a place to store a helmet. Nobody wants your helmet anyway. It should be fine with not anything more than hanging it on the handlebars, or locking it if you really want to go to the effort. I’ve never had anyone mess with mine.

Most bikes still have some kind of helmet lock. Also, you can check out the topcases from Givi, Coocase, etc. They make some that will hold a full face lid. With a full face helm you can also use a cable lock for security.
Buster, I’ve read terrible things about sticking a lid on top of the mirror, mainly that it might “crush down” the padding unevenly. Plus, it once dropped off the mirror on me, so lately I’ve been tie the chin strap & hanging it like that. The liner seems to air out surpass that way too. But if I’m not taking the lid with me & won’t be within sight of the bike, I will certainly lock it somehow. Some people do have sticky fingers
I have recently seen a steel cable “net” that you can use to lock helmets & stuff onto the bike with. The usefulness probably depends a lot on how your bike lets you fasten/lock it to its frame. If anyone’s had experience with this device, please let us know. Sounds like a cool thought to me.

If there is any storage space space it will be a tiny amount under the seat and nowhere near enough for even a bulky pair of gloves.
