Ride to squires (parts 1 & 2) HelmetCam GSX-R750, R6, CBF600
filed in Video on Jul.24, 2010
Video Description
Wednesday 15th August. 3 of us blast over to squires cafe for the weekly bike meet up… there weren’t near as many bikes as usual but it was a mint ride out… My bike: Honda CBF 600 ‘S’ Luke: Suzuki GSX-R750 Daz: Yamaha R6 Phil: Suzuki SV650 ‘S’ Equipment used: DogCam Pro (520 lines) from www.DogCamSport.co.uk And a sony DVR-PC101E dv tape camera. Recorded in full 520 lines DV Tape quality, but observably this is compressed for youtube so it’s not a bright example of the dogcam’s capabilities etc… The sound is crackly but this only occured once I’d exported it from adobe premiere – any thoughts? Edited in Premiere Pro. Music ‘Reptilia’ by the Strokes and ‘Times like these’ by the Foo Fighers…

@TheExpertDude
bmw would prolly be surpass for touring but if you’re on a bit of a budget I’d maybe go for the cbf1000 to be honest… Huge and comfy, decent tank range but no fuel gauge. Huge space to place your luggage on..
Like I say, if you got the cash then I’d be tempted by the BMW

alot of people seem to have yoshimura’s (not sure whether they do baffles with any of their systems?) but alot of people just seem to chance it.
July 24th, 2010 on 8:34 pm
that sucks so you cant have yoshimiraS?
July 24th, 2010 on 8:39 pm
If you take the baffles out of your exhaust, the police give you a £30 fine, because it makes it louder (ordinarily past the legal noise limit on the open road in UK). Also, full race systems are also illegal for the same reason (since they don’t come with baffles as standard).
They can fill their quota for the month by hanging around up the road from a well loved bike meet for a release evening.

Yep, unfortunately there’s too many clowns on our roads, so we have to wear the best protection we can meet the expense of. Textiles get a bit warm in summer and leathers look cooler than a penguins pecker… so pecker’s it is

everyone was wearing full body suits. I thought you were going to the track.
